BE STILL SOMETIMES

It is sometimes necessary and also pleasant to refrain from activity and to be still.
Body and Mind depend upon one another and degree co-operation between them will result in our states of health or disease.
We may commence the exercise at a time that is not conducive as when we have been in a rush and hurry mode and will have to persevere taking care to make sure that we have no pressing responsibilities that require action.
The restless mind becomes calm when the body sits still to gradually integrate and allow us to experience a state of peace, without disorganized thoughts.
We need a quiet environment to help us and a basic sense of inner security that will allow us to be comfortable as we just sit patiently – content just for these moments – to be still…..
